How Can We Help?
The Wayne County Committee for Crippled Children & Adults provides assistance for count residents in a number of ways. We help eligible individuals; we help nonprofits and other community groups with special projects; and we provide scholarships to eligible high school students. Below you find the applications and instructions.

Scholarships, sponsorships, and equipment are granted to disabled children and high school students for special needs, daily living and quality of life.
You Can Make a Difference
Through your donation to WCCCCA, you can help disabled children and adults in Wayne County. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we regularly look for new board members.

What We Do
Provide Equipment
We provide eligible residents with wheelchairs, hospital beds, ramps, communication devices, and other specialized equipment.
Offer Scholarships
We help handicapped students with scholarships to attend college or trade school through the Al and Judy Van Wie Scholarship Program.
Help with Special Projects
The WCCCCA has partnered with community organizations to help make playgrounds around Wayne County more accessible.
