Meeting Needs Since 1949
Wayne County Committee
for Crippled Children & Adults
Our goal has remained the same since 1949: To provide a better quality of life to the community members who deal with a wide range of impairments, disabilities, and developmental delays.
Did you know WCCCCA used to be
a chapter of the Easter Seals?
When we started out in 1949, we started out as a local chapter of the Easter Seals. However, we eventually ceased to be affiliated with the organization because we wanted to keep all of the donated funds local and use them only to help Wayne County residents. To remain as an Easter Seals chapter, we would have needed an executive director. So, we became an independent organization with an all-volunteer board so all of the money remains in Wayne County.

Supporting People Like Colton
Those We Serve
Scholarships, sponsorships, and equipment are granted to disabled children and high school students for special needs, daily living and quality of life.
You Can Make a Difference
Through your donation to WCCCCA, you can help disabled children and adults in Wayne County. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we regularly look for new board members.
